What could be more personal than wedding rings you’ve made with your own hands? In our private wedding ring workshop, the two of you work side by side at the bench in our studio: sawing, shaping, soldering and polishing. It’s perfect for complete beginners, as our goldsmith guides you through every step. You can even make each other’s rings, which many couples love.
Before the workshop, we sit down together to design your rings: the gold, the width, a matt or polished finish, and any diamonds or engraving. On the day itself we take all the time you need. Expect around four to five hours, with coffee, tea and something tasty along the way.
Many couples from around the world who have made the Netherlands their home have made their rings with us, and the whole day can be in English. The result: rings that are truly yours, with the story of how you made them.

Wedding ring workshop: your questions answered
Is the workshop suitable for beginners?
Yes, completely. The workshop is made for beginners, even if this is the first time you’ve held a hammer. Our goldsmith is by your side all day and guides every step, from the first cut of the saw to the final polish.
How much does the workshop cost?
The workshop is €665 per couple. On top of that come the rings themselves, from around €2,500 for a pair, depending on the design, the width and the type of gold. After your design appointment you’ll receive a clear quote, so you know exactly where you stand.
How long does the workshop take?
Around four to five hours. We take our time on purpose, so you can work at a relaxed pace, with breaks for coffee, tea and something tasty.
How far in advance should we book?
Ideally three to four months before your wedding, and at least three months. You’re also welcome to come much earlier: you can book your design appointment as soon as you like. We begin with a design appointment, then schedule your workshop day, and afterwards we allow time for finishing touches such as engraving or setting a stone.
Can we use our own gold or a diamond?
In the workshop we work with new, high-quality recycled gold, which is the nicest to work with and gives the most beautiful result. Would you like to use family gold in your rings? Sometimes that’s possible through our regular ring-making process. We’ll look at it together during your design appointment.
Can we make each other's rings?
Yes, and many couples love doing it that way: you each make the ring your partner will wear.
Can we take our rings home after the workshop?
Your rings stay with us for a little while after the workshop, so we can add any finishing touches, such as engraving or setting a stone. Once they’re ready, you come back to the studio to collect them.
Is the workshop available on Saturdays?
Yes, Saturdays are possible too. Get in touch and we’ll find a date that suits you.
Can we do the whole workshop in English?
